A number of suspects linked to the June 5 attack on St. Francis Catholic Church attack in Owo, Ondo State, have been arrested.
The Commander of the regional security network, Amotekun in Ondo, Adetunji Adeleye, made this known on Thursday.
According to AIT the Amotekun Commander also revealed that the network during the arrest recovered some weapons and a vehicle.
Over 40 congregants were killed and scores injured by the yet-to-be-identified gunmen at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State on June 5.
The Federal Government had blamed the Islamic State’s West Africa Province but the terrorist group had not claimed responsibility as insurgents are wont to do when they strike.
