The Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru, has contributed N20 million to the Jigawa State Government to aid in relief efforts following a devastating flood that has impacted the region.
The donation was announced during Badaru’s visit to Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa, where he extended his condolences to the state over the recent flooding that has caused significant loss of life and property.

The statement detailed the minister’s visit and his commitment to supporting the state during this difficult time.
“Minister Badaru expressed deep sympathy for those affected by the severe flooding, which has also led to widespread destruction of farmland across Jigawa,” the statement said. “He emphasized the Federal Government’s dedication to providing assistance to the state.”
