Veteran Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, popularly known as Jennifer, has charged her fans to “make serious effort while praying for something”.
The actress gave the charge on her Instagram handle following her successful weight loss from 89kg to 80kg.
Akindele, who attributed her success story to hard, said her pursuit is to go slim, adding that her weight loss journey is on.
Akindele wrote, “Testimony time! From 89kg to 80kg! I prayed and worked hard to achieve this. Work is still in progress o! #IMustBecomeLekpa. Praising the Lord always!
“Please take note: prayer without effort is useless! Make a serious effort while praying for anything.”
