Senator Ned Nwoko (PDP-Delta) has refuted recent reports alleging his death in Switzerland, branding them as entirely false and malicious.
According to The PUNCH, the lawmaker representing the Delta North Senatorial District, Nwoko released a statement on Friday in Abuja, clarifying the situation.
In the statement, Nwoko also addressed other allegations against him, including claims about purchasing a car for a young content creator.
He described these allegations as baseless and misleading, stressing that whether these actions stem from a misguided joke or deliberate malice, they have gone too far.
Senator Nwoko announced that he is initiating legal action against those responsible for spreading these falsehoods.
He warned that arrests would be made and that anyone involved should be prepared to face the consequences.
“This is not about influence; it is about holding those responsible accountable for their harmful actions,” Nwoko stated.
He further emphasized his resolve to protect his character, asserting that any attempts to tarnish his reputation would not be tolerated. Those involved in spreading these false reports should expect immediate legal repercussions.
