The Zamfara State Government has disclosed that it has not yet received the 20 trucks of rice allocated to it by the Federal Government.
The Director General of Media and Communication to the State Governor, Comrade Nuhu Salisu Anka, made this revelation in a telephone interview with newsmen in Gusau, the state capital, on Saturday.
“The Federal Government had earlier announced the dispatch of the consignments to state governments,” he noted.
“Zamfara State is yet to receive its allocation of 20 trucks of rice, which was approved by the Federal Government,” he added.
He assured that once the consignments arrive, journalists would be promptly informed about the delivery to Zamfara State.
