A gruesome incident occurred on Friday when armed robbers attacked a man leaving a new generation bank, stealing a large sum of money and fatally shooting him.
According to The PUNCH, eyewitnesses reported that the robbers tailed the victim from the bank to Phase II, Lokongoma, where they ambushed his car, dragged him out, and shot him multiple times before fleeing with a bag of cash.
The victim had withdrawn the money from the bank moments earlier.
The Kogi Police Command is yet to respond on the development.
