American singer and songwriter, Justin Timberlake, has been released from police custody after his arraignment on charges of driving while intoxicated.
He faced legal troubles recently, being arrested for alleged DWI on Long Island, New York.
Following a court appearance, the 43-year-old artist, known for hits like ‘SexyBack’, was released from custody.
Timberlake faced charges of DWI and citations for running a stop sign and failure to stay in his lane.
During his court appearance, Timberlake appeared upset, dressed in a “black bowling shirt, light jeans, and white and baby blue Air Force 1s,” although his wife, Jessica Biel, was not present.
He was accompanied by attorney Ed Burke Jr. and two others, and his handcuffs were removed after the arraignment.
A representative for the Sag Harbor Police Department detailed the incident, stating Timberlake was observed driving a 2025 BMW in an intoxicated condition.
He was arrested, processed, and held overnight before being arraigned and released on his own recognizance.
Timberlake’s next court date is scheduled for July 26.
Despite the legal issue, he continues his ‘Forget Tomorrow World Tour’, supporting his latest album, ‘Everything I Thought It Was’.
Timberlake celebrated Father’s Day with Biel and their sons Silas, 9, and Phineas, 3½, expressing gratitude for his family and calling his children his ‘2 greatest gifts’.
