The women’s competition is currently at the quarter-final stage, while the men’s competition has reached the semi-finals.
NFF General Secretary, Mohammed Sanusi, emphasized the importance of the agreed-upon date, explaining that it aligns with CAF’s deadline for submitting the country’s representatives for next season’s continental club competitions.
“Having looked closely at our programmes, the stage the men and women competitions are at the moment and the need to submit the names of all our representative clubs to CAF for African Club Competitions next season, we have reached a consensus for the grand finale of the men and women finals of the President Federation Cup to take place on Saturday, June 29,” Sanusi said in a statement shared by the NFF.
The women’s final will kick off at 1 pm, followed by the men’s final at 4 pm.
