The designated Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, toured the newly constructed Olubadan Palace on Thursday, just five days after Governor Seyi Makinde requested proof of his physical fitness.
According to The PUNCH, he was conducted around the new palace by the President-General of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes, Chief Ajeniyi Ajewole, and other notable Ibadan indigenes.
Governor Makinde had announced during the final burial rites for the previous Olubadan, Oba Lekan Balogun, that Oba Olakulehin would be installed as the next Olubadan once he has regained sufficient strength.
