American rapper, Channing Nicole Larry, better known as Enchanting, who was formerly signed to 1017 Records, has passed away at the age of 26.
Enchanting, was transferred to the ICU after reportedly suffering cardiac arrest due to an overdose.
Tragically, her representative confirmed her death on Tuesday, sharing with The Shade Room, “She came to my house the last four days to get clean. She tried her best and I did everything I could to help her, she tried.”
Gucci Mane, born Radric Delantic Davis, established 1017 Records, where Enchanting signed in 2020.
Born and raised in Texas, Enchanting rose to fame in the music industry after signing with Gucci Mane’s New 1017 label in 2020.
During her time with the label, she contributed to three compilation albums before leaving in 2023.
Her last studio album, ‘Luv Scarred/No Luv’, was released in 2023.
Enchanting was celebrated for her hit songs ‘Track & Field’ and ‘What I Want’.
Her untimely death has deeply affected fans and the music community, who mourn the loss of a promising talent.
Larry’s boyfriend, MotionGod Bandman, posted a heartfelt photo of the couple on Facebook while she was still fighting for her life, writing, “You finally found that peace that you was looking for. Y’all hurt me bad.”
In a statement to The Shade Room, a representative from the rapper’s management noted that the 26-year-old was suffering from drug withdrawals and had overdosed.
“She came to my house the last four days to get clean. She tried her best and I did everything I could to help her, she tried,” the rep told the outlet.
