Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has officially confirmed her appointment as Special Assistant on Social Events and Public Hearing to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas.
Badmus took to her Instagram account on Monday to share the news, expressing her gratitude to Speaker Abbas for entrusting her with the role.
She described the appointment as a “significant milestone” in her career and pledged to work diligently to uphold the values of the team.
“I am truly honoured and excited to serve under your leadership, #speakerabbas, and I am deeply appreciative of the confidence you have placed in me.”
She wrote. “This appointment is not only a significant milestone in my career but also a chance to contribute meaningfully to our shared goals and vision.”
Badmus also thanked the Speaker for believing in her abilities and promised to collaborate with colleagues to achieve collective goals.
“Your support and belief in my abilities mean a great deal to me. I am committed to working diligently and upholding the principles and values that our team stands for,” she added.
The appointment had earlier gone viral on May 10 when images of Badmus receiving her appointment letter surfaced online.
