The Kebbi Pilgrims Welfare Board has reported the passing of Tawalkatu Alako, a pilgrim from the Jega Local Government Area.
This information was shared by the board’s Executive Chairman, Alhaji Faruku Aliyu-Enabo, in a statement to newsmen on Sunday.
According to Aliyu-Enabo, “The deceased died on Saturday after a brief illness and her funeral prayer took place at the Al-Masjid Al-Haram (Ka’aba).”
Expressing his sympathies on behalf of the Kebbi government, the chairman extended his heartfelt condolences to Alako’s family, fellow pilgrims, and all residents of Kebbi state.
He prayed to Almighty Allah for her forgiveness and for her to be granted Jannatul Firdaus.
