The Osun State Police Command has disclosed that it arrested a popular political thug Bode Olukayode, aka Bode Itapa, allegedly terrorising Ilesa and its environs after two years of declaring him wanted.
Spokesperson for the State Police Command, Yemisi Opalola confirmed the arrest of the notorious political thug, noting “we are still conducting investigations around him.”
Bode Olukayode was declared wanted in 2022 by the Police after allegedly killing some members of All Progressives Congress.
The Police command declared him wanted over murder and cultism, stating that he has been causing menace in llesa and Osun State.
An reliable police source informed he was arrested in Ilesa by operatives while attempting to nab one Solo Iwara.
