Manchester City head coach, Pep Guardiola, has affirmed that referee Anthony Taylor’s officiating was good and nothing went wrong following his side’s 0-0 stalemate against Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday.
Gaurdiola made this disclosure while speaking after the game, maintaining that Taylor officiated a clean game at the Etihad Stadium.
He said the referee must be happy because nothing went wrong during the encounter.
The Spainaird said as quoted by Man City’s website, “I have nothing to say on the referee. The game was clean.
“Anthony Taylor must be happy because nothing wrong happened.
“The game was fun and well-fought. When the referee becomes more important than the players it happens.
“Today was perfect from both sides and the referee was really good. Everyone defended the ball and their position, but the rest was okay.”
