A pastor has suspended the wedding of a member for not having her family members present at the event.
This was revealed in a video posted on social media
The cleric who could only be simply identified @Ugochukwu said if they didn’t have family members around to give her hand out for the marriage would be cancelled.
He added that and if they waited for a while and nobody from the bride’s family the wedding would be completely cancelled.
The pastor noted that if he joined together without bride family’s members present present her to the bride he could be sued by lawyers.
While calling for the bride’s family to come out, he did not accept those who came out from the bride’s family.
Speaking further, the cleric pointed out that marriage is about ordinances and not an emotional thing.
He said, “This wedding will be suspended for not having your family members present.
“Is there anybody from Sarah’s family members here to give her to present her for the husband.? If there’s nobody then the wedding will be postponed and if waited for a while and nobody show up from her family the wedding will cancelled.
“The marriage is important. If I joined them without the presence of the family members at event lawyer can sue me. Marriage is about ordinances not an emotional thing.
“At least your mother is a church worker, she should be here. So the wedding is suspended
