The Oyo State chapter of the Nigerian Labour Congress has joined the two-day nationwide peaceful protest against the current economic hardship plaguing the country.
Members of the congress started their protest from the State Secretariat Agodi in Ibadan the State capital.
The State NLC Chairman, Comrade Kayode Martins, said that the protest is intended to be peaceful and avoid disruption to public order while revealing that the protest route route will be determined based on advise from security operatives.
