Manchester City coach, Pep Guardiola has hailed Phil Foden after a win over Bournemouth on Saturday, describing him as world class player.
Guardiola made this disclosure after Foden scored the only goal as City defeated Bournemouth 1-0 on Saturday.
The result means that the Premier League champions is close to within one point of league leaders Liverpool.
While reacting to the game at the Vitality Stadium, Gaurdiola said, “Forget about the goals, of course they are important.
“Do you know how he [Foden] played, how he controlled and accelerated? He has already become a top-class football player.
“Before he was a little boy with good actions and now he is a world-class top player. He’s so good. He can play everywhere but especially in central positions he is really, really, really good.”
