Napoli’s striker, Victor Osimhen has resumed training ahead of his side’s UEFA Champions League clash with Barcelona.
Caretaker coach, Francesco Calzona, disclosed this while providing update on the main striker.
Osimhen was left out of Napoli’s squad for last Saturday’s Serie A clash against Genoa.
The Super Eagles’ striker was not deemed fit enough to partake in the game after returning from Africa Cup of Nations with a minor muscular problem and fatigued.
Calzona, who was named as replacement for Walter Mazzarri on Tuesday revealed that the forward was involved in full training on Tuesday.
“Osimhen trained with the team, naturally it was not a long session, as we had many things to do, but he was working at full tempo,” Calzona told the media ahead of the game.
“All the players will be evaluated after tomorrow’s session.”
Napoli will host the first leg at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Wednesday.
