Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo, has expressed optimism that the head coach Jose Peseiro will provide a winning formular for the team against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in the knock out stages of the African Cup of Nations in Cote D’ivoire.
Omeruo gave this confidence while speaking with newsmen ahead of Round of 16 encounter against Cameroon on Saturday.
Nigeria and Cameroon will clash in a blockbuster Round of 16 tie at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan.
Peseiro’s 3-4-3 formation has worked out well with the Super Eagles winning their last two games against Cote d’Ivoire and Guinea-Bissau.
Omeruo has backed the gaffer to come out with the winning strategy again.
“We are focused on our preparation. We believe in the coach to provide us with the right tactics to beat them (Cameroon,” he told reporters.
“We are confident, after the last game, we resolved that we are ready to face any opponent. We just have to stick to our game plan and work hard on the pitch.”
