The Federal Airport Authority has denied that a man in a viral video alleged to have planted drugs in travelers’ luggage is not its staff.
In a video posted on its official X, formerly Twitter handle on Friday, a man was seen being beaten by some official over the allegation of setting traveler up.
In a statement, it was said that FAAN staff was caught trying to “smuggle drugs” into man luggage
While reacting to the development, FAAN disclosed in a statement via X, that the man seen in the video is not a member of its staff.
The statement read, “The Authority wishes to set the records straight by stating that the officer being manhandled in the video is not a staff of FAAN .
” He has been identified as a member of the staff of Pathfinder company.”
