Doyin Odebowale, the senior special assistant to late governor Rotimi Akeredolu has resigned.
Odebowale’s resignation was contained in a letter he personally signed on Wednesday.
Although, the reason for his resignation was not stated in the letter it might not be unconnected with the demise of his late boss, Akeredolu.
The letter reads in part, “I write to notify your office of my intention to resign my appointment as the Senior Special Assistant, Special Duties & Strategy to tire Governor of Ondo State with immediate effect.
“I use this medium to thank the Government and the people of Ondo State for the rare privilege offered for service.”
Punch Metro had published that Akeredolu died on Wednesday after a long battle with prostate cancer.
