Afrobeats musician Asake has paid tribute, on Sunday paid tribute to the late Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

A wall mural was done for the late singer, with his picture alongside lyrics from one of his songs, ‘Ask about Me’.
PUNCH METRO reported that Mohbad died in September under questionable circumstances, with videos of the singer being bullied and assaulted resurfacing after his demise.
The singer was laid to rest in Ikorodu, Lagos State, the following day.
The police exhumed his body on 21 September for an autopsy. However, the report is still pending.
While the singer has yet to be reburied, there is an ongoing coroner’s inquest probing into the circumstances of his death.
Recall that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State had directed the state Police Command, in collaboration with the Department of State Services, DSS, to launch a major investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of the singer.
Recently, Sanwo-Olu fired back at journalist who asked for justice for Mohbad.
The journalist who demanded that Sanwo-Olu use his high office as governor of the state to fight for justice for late singer, Mohbad.
Sanwo-Olu angrily replied: “Security is not about emotion. Its serious business. There is no emotion.
“I’m standing in front of you, it’s not emotional, it’s real. I don’t sleep until 5am. Three days ago, there was a crash in a vehicle, we are not joking, here. We will do the job and do it well.
“There are people in detention as we speak. Just give us a little credit. We are also human beings. We get to do this job with everything that we have.”
