A devastating fire engulfed the childhood residence of acclaimed American singer and songwriter Beyoncé Knowles in Houston, Texas.
The incident, which occurred on Monday, was swiftly addressed by the Houston Fire Department.
Responding to a call at approximately 2 am, firefighters rushed to the two-story house located on Rosedale Street, finding it ablaze upon arrival.
Efforts to contain the fire were immediate, with the first firetrucks reportedly managing to quell a significant portion of the inferno within the initial 10 minutes.
Firefighters had to undertake the challenging task of accessing the attic and eaves, necessitating the cutting of the roof to fully extinguish the flames.
Thankfully, the occupants of the house, a couple accompanied by their two young children, managed to escape the blaze wearing their pajamas.
It was also reported that no injuries were reported during the incident.
