Victor Osimhen was on the scoresheet as Napoli secured their place in the Champions League last 16 on Tuesday by defeating Braga 2-0.
The victory also sees Napoli breaking a two-month home winless streak.
The Italian champions, finishing second in Group C after Real Madrid, benefited from Serder Saatci’s own goal and Victor Osimhen’s first goal since early October, both scored in the first half.
Despite only needing a single-goal loss to advance, Walter Mazzarri’s team comfortably progressed, ending their six-match winless run at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
This victory, the first in Naples since late September, ensured Napoli finished the group stage with 10 points, six ahead of Braga, who now move to the Europa League.
