Suspected cultists associated with General ‘Danger’, on Monday raided Egbeh community in Ubie kingdom, Ahoda West Local Government Area of Rivers State, kidnapping three individuals, including a woman.
Community sources revealed that the bodies of the three abducted individuals were discovered later in the day along the Egbeh and Ebiriba Road area of Ubie Kingdom.
Reports suggest that before the abduction, two male victims had an altercation with a woman claimed to be General ‘Danger’s’ mother, who allegedly threatened retaliation against them.
General Danger purportedly leads the Iceland cult group in the region.
Further details unveiled that the abducted lady was reportedly in a relationship with one of the male victims. Meanwhile, the woman identified as General ‘Danger’s’ mother has reportedly fled the community.
Following the abduction, panic ensued in the area, prompting locals to sound the alarm and initiate a search for the victims.
A source said, “We started searching to know where the boys took the three people to. We started hearing gunshots between Egbeh and Ebiriba Road.
“Later when community people went there, they saw the bodies of the three people that these bad boys have killed.”
The Rivers State Police Command’s spokesperson, Grace Iringe-Koko, confirmed the incident and assured ongoing investigations aimed at apprehending the suspects responsible, ensuring they face legal consequences.
Iringe-Koko, a Superintendent of police stated, “Yes I’m aware of the incident, three persons were killed and we are making efforts to ensure that the perpetrators are arrested and meant to face justice. The investigation is ongoing as we speak.”
