NUGA president Ogbu is dead

The President of the Nigerian Universities Games Association, Mr Emeka Ogbuji is dead.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria, Acting President of the association, Prof. Mohammed Bawa, made this known while speaking with journalists on Wednesday in Jos, the Plateau State capital.

Bawa revealed that Ogbu died on Monday after a brief illness.

NAN reported that Ogbu was the Director of Sports at the Enugu State University of Science and technology.

He was elected NUGA president in March 2022.
