The Ogun State Government has reiterated its determination to eradicate land grabbing and foster a conducive environment for investors.
According to The PUNCH, the Ogun State government have established a task force to prosecute land grabbers and are committed to resolving communal issues related to agricultural land acquisition.
The Commissioner for Agriculture, Bolu Owotomo, assured support for investors, emphasizing the importance of using acquired land for agriculture and maintaining good relations with host communities.
The government official also encouraged investors to engage in corporate social responsibility initiatives and urged them to report any challenges with host communities rather than taking matters into their own hands.
Also the Olowo of Owoland appreciated the Commissioner’s visit, pledged support for the administration, and requested village excision to prevent unnecessary disputes.
