There is tight security at the Court of Appeal complex in the Federal Capital Territory, as the appellate court is set to deliver judgment in Kano and Bauchi states governorship appeals.
According to The PUNCH, some roads leading to the court were cordoned off by men of the Nigeria Police Force.
A large number of supporters trying to gain access to the premises were condoned off by police officers with teargas canisters to disperse them.
However, as of the time of filing this report, police officers are making a frantic effort to forestall the breakdown of law and order on the court premises.
The judgments in both appeals were slated for 10am.
