Social media was set buzzing on Saturday morning after images and videos of popular Fuji star, Wasiu Ayinde a.k.a Kwam 1, and Nigerian international act, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as ‘Wizkid’, surfaced online.
Videos obtained by PUNCH METRO showed the pair visiting the Awujale of the Ijebu Kingdom, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona.
KWAM 1 and Wizkid were seen kneeling in front of the much respected Ogun monarch, paying homage to him.
In one of the videos, Wizkid was heard telling the monarch that he attended Ijebu-Ode grammar school, a community primary school.
In another video, Wizkid was seen paying a visit to his alma mater in the town.
The sight of Wizkid and Kwam 1 has continued to generate several reactions from exciting fans who have taken to the social media to share their excitements.
Popular social media influencer, @POOJA, tweeted, “Wizkid with a chieftaincy title in Ijebu Ode will be mad. I will drive down to honor as a true Ijebu man.”
Another tweep @HenryO, tweeted,”It’s always a good thing to strive hard in life, attain success, and return to your root to show gratitude.
