Luis Diaz’s father has been set free by kidnappers after 12 days in captivity.
Diaz Snr was kidnapped on Saturday October 28 when he was driving in his car with his wife Cilenis Marulanda. Luis Diaz was informed of the incident on the Saturday evening, and his mother was released the following morning.
This development has been confirmed by Italian Football Journalist, Fabrizio Romano, who tweeted on Thursday evening,”Luis Manuel Díaz, Lucho’s father, has been released today after spending the last 12 days kidnapped in Colombia.
“He’s with the police now after being released, as @VickyDavilaH reports.
“Wonderful news for Luis Díaz; his dad and mom are finally both free and safe.”
