The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has brought the former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, to the Federal High Court in Abuja.
This action followed a court order to produce him in court, which the EFCC had initially failed to comply with.
The proceedings were adjourned until Wednesday, and Emefiele was eventually brought to court by heavily armed operatives.
The judge is, however, yet to sit.
