Nigerian ambassador to Morocco, Alhaji Mansur Nuhu Bamalli, has passed away at the age of 42.
Alhaji Bamalli, who assumed the role following his appointment by President Muhammadu Buhari last year, held the additional title of Magajin Garin Zazzau and was the biological younger brother of the Emir of Zazzau in Kaduna.
The tragic news of Ambassador Bamalli’s demise was conveyed in a statement released by the Media and Publicity officer of the Zazzau emirate council.
The statement revealed that Mansur Nuhu Bamalli passed away at a private hospital in Lagos while in transit to Morocco.
The statement did not provide details about the cause of his death but indicated that further information regarding funeral arrangements would be announced at a later time.
Ambassador Bamalli leaves behind a wife and two children, and his untimely passing is undoubtedly a loss to both the diplomatic community and the Zazzau emirate.
