Nigerian music star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has publicly stated that he doesn’t know the Big Brother Naija star, Ijeoma Otabor, also known as Phyna.
This revelation comes after a social media controversy involving a tweet liked by Davido that criticized Phyna and her fans.
The controversy began when Davido liked a post on Twitter by user X (@47kasz) that referred to Phyna’s fans as “useless.” This incited a reaction from the reality TV star, Phyna, who took to her Twitter account to express her feelings, saying, “Wetin I do, #davido na wah oh. The hate is real. Congratulations on your twins sha.”
In response to Phyna’s tweet, Davido issued an apology, explaining, “Thank you, love, but I actually don’t know who you are, and it was an honest mistake, no vex.”
Phyna, who achieved fame as the winner of the Big Brother Naija reality TV show in 2022, responded to the situation with grace, saying, “God knows me. Thank you, Jesus. Make I sha go double my hustle.”
