Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro, has said the team’s finishing against Mozambique on Monday was poor.
He expressed disappointment that his side didn’t score more goals against Mozambique in their friendly match.
The Super Eagles defeated the Mambas 3-2 in their friendly at the Estadio Municipal de Albufeira.
Peseiro’s side conceded early in the game but scored three goals in the first half.
The Super Eagles, then failed to add to their tally after the break despite having a numerous advantage over the Mozambicans.
Instead, it was the Mambas that reduced the deficit.
The Portuguese gaffer while lamenting the goal margin, admitted his side deserved more from the game.
“I didn’t like the second half because we commanded it, but you must put more concentration and the finishing was poor,” Peseiro said in his post-match interview.
“Our team are better than this team and yet we let in two goals.
“We played better than this result because we created 10, 14 chances, many opportunities.
“I liked the match against Saudi Arabia, but today, I don’t like it. Today, we need to score five, six, seven, eight goals,” he added.
