The Super Eagles of Nigeria on Friday evening were held to a 2-2 draw at the Portimao Municipal Stadium in Portugal.
The friendly match was played as part of preparation for the team ahead of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers and the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations finals, respectively.

The Nigerian national team found equalizer through an own goal by A. Alamri in the 73rd minutes after Bayern Leverkusen striker, Boniface had his shot deflected by the Saudi Arabia defender.
Substitute Kelechi Iheanacho gave the Super Eagles the lead in the 81 minutes before Uzoho failed to reign in another free kick in the 90- minutes of the game.
