The Nigeria Police Force has apprehended two women who hold National Diplomas from Kwara Polytechnic, Adama Joseph and Oreoluwa Davies, on charges of robbery and murder.
The victim, a Kwara socialite named Adeniyi Ojo, was lured into a deadly encounter involving a threesome and BDSM (bondage, discipline, sadism, and masochism).
The horrific incident unfolded when the suspects convinced Mr. Ojo to engage in a sexual encounter, which took a dark and tragic turn when he refused to comply with their financial demands.
BDSM, an abbreviation for a range of sexual preferences that include physical and psychological control, as well as pain, played a central role in this disturbing case.
Meanwhile, a threesome, a form of group sex, was the backdrop for the unfolding tragedy.
The Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, provided insights into the investigation during a press conference in Abuja.
“On October 6, 2023, police operatives apprehended the two suspects, Adama and Oreoluwa, who are both students of Kwara State Polytechnic for their involvement in the robbery and murder of Mr. Adeniyi Ojo, the son of Chief Emmanuel Ojo, a prominent figure in Ilorin, Kwara State,” Adejobi stated.
As the investigation unfolded, it became clear that the victim was bound under the pretense of engaging in a sexual encounter with the suspects, during which they demanded money from him.
When Mr. Ojo did not comply, the situation escalated. “But when he was not forthcoming, they resorted to drugging and suffocating him, leading to his untimely demise,” ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi added.
During an interview with journalists, one of the suspects, Adama, shared her perspective on the events leading to the tragic incident.
She revealed that Mr. Ojo had been pressuring her for a sexual relationship, but she had repeatedly refused due to their previous work relationship.
Furthermore, he had failed to meet her financial needs when she requested assistance. Oreoluwa, the other suspect, corroborated Adama’s account.
The suspects confessed to their intentions, stating, “We didn’t plan to kill him. On that particular day, we went with the intention to steal from him, so we told him that we wanted to do BDSM, and he agreed to have a threesome with me and my friend (Oreoluwa), said Adama
“After Oreoluwa tied his hands and legs, I tried to gag his mouth, but he refused, and I stopped,” she added
The tragic incident came to light when the suspects realized that Mr. Ojo had passed away.
