The action of a newly sworn-in Minister of Steel Development, Shuaibu Audu, who prostrated for President Bola Tinubu, during the swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed Ministers in Abuja, on Monday, August 21, 2023.
Audu, in a video clip posted online, by Channels Television, was seen prostrating for the President, shortly after signing his oath of Office.
The newly sworn-in Minister after signing his oath of office, went ahead and prostrated for the President, before giving him a handshake, which President Tinubu also stood up to shake his hand, and also took some photographs with him.
However, the minister’s action has caused mixed reactions online, with some people seeing it as a sign of respect, while some see it as encouraging Godfathers in politics.
