The Kogi State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has reportedly decorated some of its officers including 168 inspectors and 153 assistant superintendents of police 11.
This was made known by the command’s spokesperson, SP William Ovye Aya, in a statement on Thursday.
The event which took place at the command’s headquarters in Lokoja was performed by the State Police Commissioner, Mr Bethrand Onuoha.
He noted that Onuoha also decorated 153 officers as Assistant Superintendent of Police I.
The Officers were decorated with their new rank amid cheers from families, friends and well-wishers, according to Daily Post.
