At least three men have been arrested in Adamawa State for allegedly killing a 38-year-old Umar Abdullahi in the capital, Yola.
The 38-year-old Umar was killed last week near his place of residence in Ajiya Street, a community in Jimeta, Yola North Local Government Area, according to Daily Post.
The deceased was reportedly killed as an aftermath of resisting to let go of his phone to the gang.
He was repeatedly stabbed which led to his demise.
Moreover, police has confirmed the arrest of three persons in conneection with the murder.
The statement, signed by police image maker, Suleiman Nguroje, and made available to newsmen gave the names of the suspects as Ismail Isah, 21 years old; Umar Usman Sola, 17 years old; and Suleiman Muhammed, 16 years old.
The police added that the three, who are of different addresses, were arrested “following the attack and killing of the said Umar Abdullahi.”
