Super Falcons of Nigeria on Monday afternoon qualified for the knock out stage of the ongoing FIFA Women World Cup which is being hosted by Australia and New Zealand.
The Nigerian side only needed a draw to proceed to the next stage of the competition.
The Super Falcons had earlier secured a well-deserved draw against Canada and delivering a thrilling victory over co-hosts Australia in their second game of the group.
Following the draw, the Super Falcons are the first African team to qualify for the knockout stage of the competition.
