The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Benjamin Kalu has sent his condolence message to the family of elder statesman, late Sir Vincent Ogbulafor who was buried at his hometown in Olokoro, Umuahia South LGA, Abia on Friday, July 28th, 2023.
In his condolence message, Hon. Kalu described the former National Chief of the People’s Democratic Party as an exemplary leader who had immensely contributed to the growth of the Nation through his accomplishments in political landscape.
He said the former Minister of Planning is man of reputable character, competence and patriotism whose trajectory in leadership at various levels remains worthy of emulation.

Kalu then prayed for the Almighty to accept his soul and grant him eternal rest, just as as the Deputy Speaker expressed sadness over the death of Lady Nimi Ohuabunwa, the wife of Senator Mao Ohuabunwa who represented Abia North Senatorial District in the 8th National Assembly.
Kalu while stating that the pain of losing a partner is one that cuts deep, urged the former Senator to remain steadfast in God as he is the only one who will grant him divine comfort.
“The news of your wife’s death came to me as a shock. It is more saddening that she died a few months after she celebrated her birthday for which you paid glowing, celebratory tributes.
“Indeed, she was your jewel of inestimable value, your partner and support. We can’t question God but can only submit to His Ultimate Will for humanity. I urge you not to lose faith in him even in this trying time.
“While I commiserate with you, sir, please, take solace in the fact that she has been called to rest in the Bosom of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Please accept my heartfelt condolences,” Hon. Kalu said.
