The board of the National Youth Service Corps<!--nextpage--> has cleared the air that no fees are charged for the deployment and relocation of Corps members in line with the scheme policies. This was made known in a statement signed by the Director of Press and Public Relations, Eddy Megwa. He noted that the services are free following the Deployment and Relocation policies of the Scheme and is based on merit. According to the statement, the "mobilisation of Prospective Corps members for national service is free of charge, as Corps Producing Institutions do not pay for that." He urged the public to report any infraction noticed to the head of unit or security agencies for sanctioning. “Any infraction on the above policies should be reported to the Heads of the nearest NYSC formations nationwide, NYSC National Directorate Headquarters Abuja and or the security agencies for prompt action,” he added.
