Super Falcons forward, Asisat Oshoala, has described Nigeria as the best nation in the world.
She stated this during her post match interview with journalists at the ongoing FIFA women world cup, co-hosted by New Zealand and Australia.
The Barcelona striker was on target as the Super Falcons defeated Australia 3-2 on Thursday afternoon.
Her goal also makes her the first African female footballer to score in three different world cup.
While reacting to the win, she said,“I want to make sure I fight for my teammates, fight for this badge.This is the best county in the world”
Her post game statement as well as her heroics during the game has continued to generate various reactions, with the majority commending her for not only defending the honor of the nation on the pitch, but also off the pitch.
