Nigerian international, Samuel Chukwueze has reportedly had the mandatory medicals at the La Madonnina clinic in Milan, while his transfer is expected to be made official Thursday.
Chukwueze, who arrived in Milan Wednesday, has worn jersey number 21 after his switch from Spanish La Liga side Villarreal to Italian giants AC Milan.
MilanNews said, “Chukwueze arrived in Italy yesterday for the usual medical and fitness checks before he will sign his contract at Casa Milan, and he has chosen the No. 21 shirt. The right winger arrives from Villarreal on a permanent deal with a €20m fixed amount plus €8m in bonuses, plus a five-year contract worth €4m net per season.”
The 24-year-old striker came to the limelight while donning jersey number 8 at the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile, where his guile and goals partly helped Nigeria become the first country to win the title for a fifth time.
