The Super Falcons defender, Nicole Payne has joined French club, Paris Saint Germain Feminine from the University of California.
The 22-year old Payne penned a three-year contract with the former French champion.
In her 16 appearances for the University of Southern California last year, the defender scored three goals.
Payne, while expressimg her joy after signing the contract, said, “It’s something I’ve always dreamed of! I became a professional player when I was a teenager, and I’ve grown up playing football since I was four, so to experience a moment like this is very special. I’m really grateful to be here,” she told club’s official website.
The versatile defender is the younger sister of Toni Payne, who is currently part of the Super Falcons’ squad at the ongoing 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
