Hajj: Second batch of 269 Kwara pilgrims return to Nigeria
A batch of 269 Kwara State’s pilgrims that performed 2023 Hajj in Saudi Arabia has returned to Nigeria.
The pilgrims, which was another batch, were said to have boarded Air Peace’s aircraft departed Jeddah International Airport, Saudi Arabia, at 9.45am and arrived Ilorin International Airport at 1.38pm on Wednesday.
The first batch of 272 pilgrims from the state had last Wednesday returned to Ilorin.
Some of the elated pilgrims who were received by their families and relations at the airport, include AbdulRasheed AbdulKadir Olesin, thanked God for granting them a successful hajj operation and for ensuring their safe return to Nigeria.
They expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the members of the State Pilgrims Board and government’s delegation while in he holy land.
