77-year-old Ogun man defiles seven-year-old daughter
A 77-year-old man identified as Adedamola Idowu has been arrested by the operatives of the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly defiling his seven-year-old daughter.
The state Commissioner of Police Abiodun Alamutu, made this known while parading the suspects at the police headquarters in Eleweran on Tuesday, adding that the septuagenarian was arrested alongside a 26-year-old neighbour, Oluwatobi Adebisi, for the same offence.
Alamutu revealed that the pair were arrested on Friday in Ijagun, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
He said, “This randy father and his neighbour have been having unlawful carnal knowledge of his seven-year-old girl. The victim has been referred for counselling and emotional therapy, and the case has been transferred to SCID for confidential investigation and prosecution.”
