The recovery of a Mercedes Benz GLB 250 SUV car worth N55m, stolen by a prospectful buyer while test-driving it in Abuja, has been confirmed by the Federal Capital Territory Police Command.

Premium Politics, hadearlier reported that a car dealer, Mohammed Manga, made a complaint to the police that one Mr Henry, who disguised as a customer, absconded with the car while test-driving it in Abuja.
According to him, one of his friends who is also a car dealer, took the Mercedes Benz to the prospective buyer for sale, but trouble started when Henry begged to test-run the car after the price was settled at N55 million.

“The FCT Command had earlier initiated a discrete investigation into the incident and alerted other Commands, which led to the recovery of the vehicle,” she said.
