A source within the Brazil football federation has revealed that Real Madrid Coach, Carlos Ancelotti will take over the Brazil National team by 2024.
The federation had previously declared that Fluminense’s Fernando Diniz would lead the team in the meantime.
Ancelotti has one season left on his Real Madrid contract and will take over Brazil in time for the Copa America, which will be staged in the United States beginning in June 2024.
The former AC Milan and Chelsea coach will be the country’s first foreign coach in nearly sixty years.
Tite led Brazil as their coach at the 2022 World Cup, however he resigned from the position after Croatia eliminated Brazil in the quarterfinals.
Ramon Menezes has been in charge of the team since on a caretaker basis.
Brazil will start their qualifying campaign in September at home against Bolivia and then away against Peru.
