British Rapper, Aitch, has unofficially unveiled Manchester United’s new home jersey for the 2023–2034 season at Glastonbury.
The boyhood United supporter, real name Harrison James Armstrong, offered fans a complete glimpse of the shirt while playing at the music event on Tuesday, when the adidas uniform was scheduled to be presented.
The shirt’s most prominent design element is the pattern of Lancashire roses extending across its surface. They serve as a backdrop for the Red Devils’ club crest, primary sponsor Team Viewer, and the Adidas insignia, which, for the first time since the sports brand’s partnership with United, consists of only the symbol and no text.
Additionally, the shirt’s V-neck collar and sleeves are trimmed in black, and Adidas’ signature three stripes appear in their usual location.
Aitch adorned the back of his blouse with the lyrics ‘Big Shell 40′, a reference to one of his songs.
His appearance on the second day of the Somerset festival isn’t the first time the Red Devils’ 23-24 shirt has been revealed, since promotional photographs circulated online in May. Marcus Rashford, Casemiro, Lisandro Martinez, and Luke Shaw were all seen posing in their new gear.
